Delete Your Account

Gita Prana · Account and data deletion

You can delete your Gita Prana account and everything stored with it at any time. There are two ways to do it, and both remove the same data.

From inside the app

This is the fastest route and takes effect immediately.

  • Open Gita Prana
  • Go to the Settings tab
  • Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
  • Confirm when asked — you will be told exactly what is about to be removed

By email

If you have already uninstalled the app, or cannot sign in, email us and we will do it for you:

privacy@gitaprana.com

Send it from the email address on the account, or tell us which address the account uses, so we can be sure we are deleting the right one. We complete these requests within 30 days, and usually within a few days.

What gets deleted

Everything below is permanently removed from our servers. None of it can be recovered afterwards.

  • Your account itself, including the email address and display name
  • Your Kundalini progress, Prana points and chakra state
  • Your intervention history — every recorded pause and its outcome
  • Your meditation and yoga session logs
  • Any custom practice sequences you built
  • Your subscription record, notification preferences and device notification tokens
  • Any analytics associated with your account

What stays, and why

  • Anything on your phone. Your app selections, time limits and local settings never left your device in the first place. Uninstalling the app removes them.
  • Purchase records held by Google Play. If you subscribed, Google keeps its own transaction records for financial and legal reasons. We cannot delete those. Manage or cancel a subscription in the Play Store.
  • Anonymous, aggregated statistics. These are not linked to you or to your account and cannot be traced back to you.

Cancel your subscription first

Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription, because the subscription belongs to your Google Play account rather than to us. Cancel it in the Play Store first, otherwise billing continues. See Terms and Privacy Policy.
